  • Measure fillet welding place irregular curve edge flush to horizizontal toe of weld so the straight edge is line with horizontal member.
  • Measure weld throad thickness place the 45 degreee andge end flus to the horizontal and vertiacal member. Loosen the thumb screw and slide the pointer until it touches the face of the weld.
